Celebrate Life and Culture at Geyserville’s Día de los Muertos Festival

Downtown Geyserville is preparing to come alive with color, music, and tradition this Saturday, November 1st, as the community hosts its annual Día de los Muertos celebration from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This beloved Mexican holiday, which honors deceased loved ones, will transform the heart of Geyserville into a vibrant cultural experience featuring authentic food, local artisans, and live performances that celebrate both heritage and community.

The festival will showcase an impressive array of vendors offering authentic Mexican cuisine and handcrafted goods. Food lovers can indulge in traditional Oaxacan tamales from Eutilia’s Tamales Oaxaqueños, street tacos from Tacos El Rey del Trompo, and delicious pozole from Margarita’s Pozole.

3:30 PM – The celebration kicks off with Ballet Folklórico de Geyserville Unified, showcasing the beauty of traditional Mexican dance.

4:00 PM – Cantantes Estudiantiles (Student Singers) take the stage, highlighting the talent of local youth.

4:30 PM – The Mariachi Club de Santa Rosa Junior College brings the iconic sounds of mariachi music to downtown.

5:00 PM – The evening culminates with the traditional Sorteo de canastas (Basket Drawing), giving attendees a chance to win festive prizes.
